The Boonville R-I School District is accepting applications for Food Service Worker positions for the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple positions may be available.

 

Food Service Workers assist with the preparation and service of nutritious meals for students and staff while helping maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Specific assignments may include food preparation, cooking, serving, cashiering, dishwashing, cleaning, stocking, and other general food service duties based on the needs of the district.

Qualifications:

• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and established food safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced school food service environment
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with food service work
• Previous food service experience is preferred but not required
