The Boonville R-I School District is accepting applications for a Full-Time Custodian to join our team!

This is a 12-month, full-time position that plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

 

Responsibilities Include:

• Cleaning and maintaining classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, and other school facilities
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and performing general custodial duties
• Emptying trash and maintaining clean and sanitary areas throughout the building
• Assisting with setup and cleanup for school activities and events
• Performing routine building and grounds-related tasks as assigned
• Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Working cooperatively with staff to help keep district facilities safe, clean, and ready for students

The responsibilities listed above are not all-inclusive. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the operations of the district.

Applicants should be dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

Position Details:

• Full-time, 12-month position
• Starting Pay: $15.61–$19.67 per hour, based on applicable experience and placement on the district salary schedule
• Benefits: Health insurance and retirement benefits following a 60-day probationary period
• Paid leave benefits
