The Boonville R-I School District is accepting applications for a part-time Crossing Guard.

This is a 2-hour-per-day, 9-month position that plays an important role in helping ensure the safety of our students as they travel to and from school.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting students in safely crossing streets before and after school
• Monitoring traffic and pedestrian activity at the assigned crossing location
• Promoting safe crossing procedures for students
• Providing a dependable and friendly presence for students and families
