The Boonville School District is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Kitchen Manager to oversee our school food service program. This position plays a key role in ensuring students receive nutritious, appealing meals in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation, service, and cleanup.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal school nutrition program guidelines.

• Manage food inventory, ordering, and record keeping.

• Supervise and train food service staff to maintain high standards of food safety and customer service.

• Uphold sanitation and safety standards in all areas of kitchen operation.

• Collaborate with district administration to support healthy eating initiatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in food service preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Previous experience in a school or institutional food service setting preferred.
